Food: Well thought out dishes that flavourful, smartly present and rewarding. You have the option of traditional Swiss dishes such Zürcher Geschnetzeltes with butter roesti, as well as Italian influence risotto dishes.
Service: Excellent service. It was a warm summer day, and the waiter was kind enough to deter me from ordering the more filling cream-based venison dish which he warned might “feel a bit uncomfortable in this weather”, and better for colder days. His suggestions were light and delicious.
Must try: Lambs lettuce – a refreshing salad of grated eggs, bacon, raspberry vinegrette and hazelnut oil, steak tartare, and ravioli with veal meat.
Ambience: Beautiful location along the River Limmat. The indoor area is formal and elegant, but in warm weather, a table at the outdoor terrace is a must.
